After two long years my insurance company has finally caved in and will allow me to get the PET/CT scans I need, as often as I need them! It has been an onging struggle, and I'm tired of it but the end justifies the means. To others of you out there fighting the same battles - DON'T GIVE UP! As we say here in Iowa - The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Don't give them a moments rest, talk to your congressman (I did), get your story out to as many people as possible, I firmly believe that until the insurance companies see you as a threat to future business they will continue to deny claims.
